Severn Healthcare have partnered with Auxin Surgery to bring the CADISS® system to the UK and Ireland. Auxin Surgery specialize in the development of a novel line of medical devices (CADISS®) for the selective dissection of pathological tissues and fibrosis.
The CADISS® system is safe, clinically validated and is able to facilitate many surgical procedures while preserving critical organs and healthy tissues such as nerves, muscles or blood vessels. The chemical agent, Mesna, breaks selectively disulfide bonds responsible for the adhesions of some tissues, to significantly improve the outcome of delicate surgical dissections.
The combination between the mechanical force of the non-aggressive irrigated dissectors and the selective action of the CADISS® solution will enable an easy tissue separation, without damaging or tearing the pathological fibrotic tissue from the healthy structure to be preserved.
